Passport to Summer 2023

Cure summer boredom with Redrock Media’s PASSPORT TO SUMMER, powered by 98.9 Kool FM, Mix 103.1, 102.3 The Coyote, 104.1 Zion FM, Kamea Pools, and House of Jump.

With the Passport to Summer, you’ll learn how to create batteries out of lemons, explore local parks, golf in your kitchen, bake a cake, or build a fort! Lots of amazing local businesses are invested in helping you learn new things and stay active this summer. Plus, if you complete all the activities, you will be eligible to win a 4K outdoor projector and projector screen (valued at $5,000) provided by Kamea Pools. You could also win tickets to Lagoon, or thousands of dollars in other prizes! 

PRIZES

Grand Prize: Complete ALL Activities to be eligible to win the 4k Ultra Short Throw Projector and 120” Projector Screen ($5,000 value) Provided by Kamea Pools 

2nd Place: Complete AT LEAST 25 activities to be eligible to win a Family Pack of 4 Lagoon Tickets 

3rd Place: Complete AT LEAST 20 activities to be eligible to win 2 Lagoon Tickets 

Complete 10 or more activities to be eligible to win a prize from a pool of thousands of dollars worth of rewards and prizes! Prizes TBD.

Passport to Summer 2023 Rules

The passport to summer program starts Memorial Day (May 29th, 2023) and ends Labor Day (Sept 4th, 2023) 5pm MDT. 

All participants must be either 18 years of age or older or accompanied by an adult. Children without an adult present will not receive stamps. In order to be eligible for the first place grand prize, (4K projector screen valued at $5,000), each participant must complete all of the activities outlined in the Passport to Summer. To be eligible for the second place prize (Lagoon family 4 pack), participants must complete at least 25 of the activities. To be eligible for the third place prize (a pair of Lagoon passes), participants must complete at least 20 of the activities. 

To be eligible for the other prizes, participants must complete at least 10 activities.

For an activity to be completed, participants must receive a verified stamp from each activity sponsor with their verified stamp provided by the individual sponsor. 

In order to receive a stamp from the sponsors, each participant must show a picture of themselves completing the activity within the program dates. (May 29th- September 4th, 2023) Group pictures will be allowed. Each participant must be present with their own passport to receive their stamp. Only one passport per person allowed. Any duplicates will be disqualified and any passports with forged stamps will be disqualified. All passports must be turned in at Redrock Media (1664 S Dixie Drive Suite D 104 Saint George, Utah 84770) no later than 5pm on September 5th 2023. Winners will be randomly selected and announced Friday, September 8th, 2023. Children must have an adult present to claim their prize.

GENERAL STATION CONTEST RULES:

Contests on Redrock Media Stations (MIX 103.1, 98.9 KOOL FM, 102.3 THE COYOTE, and 104.1 ZION FM) are open to all qualified persons 18 years or older except employees of Redrock Media, their families, and household members and employees of all St. George area media companies and their immediate family members.

No purchase is necessary and a total of one prize may be won per household address, whether the prize is cash, tickets, services or merchandise and winners will not qualify for any other contest prize for at least 30 days.

Prize winners are responsible for all tax liability associated with the contest and will be required to provide their social security number for tax purposes and will be required to sign an eligibility release.

Winners must be residents of Utah, Arizona, or Nevada and provide proof of residency. 

Winners release Redrock Media, its stations and employees from any liability associated with the contest and prize.

Redrock Media reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar or greater value and shall not be responsible to replace tickets to concerts or events that are cancelled or re-scheduled.  Redrock Broadcasting is not responsible for any product liability issues.

Redrock Media is not responsible for mis-directed or mis-dialed phone calls, emails, texts, or misuse or misdirection of any digital or social media used to enter, qualify, or win contests.

Copies of these rules are available at Redrock Media, 1664 S. Dixie Drive, Suite D-104, St. George, Utah 84770 between 9AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday, or by mailing a stamped, self addressed envelope to the same address.  Contest rules are also posted on station websites where available.

All decisions of the contest judges or administrators are final.

Prizes will not be awarded until the actual winner has been verified for eligibility through the Redrock Media Business office and may take up to 3 weeks.  Prizes must be claimed in a timely manner and after 30 days will be considered abandoned and the offer expired. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based upon eligibility.  A picture I.D. is required in order to claim the prize.

Prizes will not be mailed and must be picked up in person where a proof of receipt will be required.
